NOTE: You have to type (svlan 0) in console for this to work over the internet in GMOD. Have your friends type 'connect YOURIPHERE' this is how me and my friends play LAN valve games together without having to port forward and such. If you don't know how to get to console go to keyboard, settings, advanced, ENABLE DEVELOPER CONSOLE. Every time I try to join them, it instead gives a windows showing their game info (their game and what map in the case of GMod). I haven't been able to fix it and i can't join them through them inviting. The server max is 4 people and there are only two so that isn't the problem.

Gmod Invite Friends

For some reason I cannot connect to my friend's gmod server and any other person can. When I try to connect I get 'Connecting to sever' it loads 2 bars then it says 'failed to connect after 4 retries' I've tried reinstalling garrys mod, reseting my modem, restarting my computer, verifying the integrity of garrys mod, trying to join through legacy browser and trying to join directly off of my friend. I can join ANY other server but his for whatever reason thanks in advance |
